インドが5月11日と14日、地下核実験を行なった。これに対して世界中が非難を表明。当のインドはアメリカやロシアらと同レベルであると主張するが、隣国のパキスタンが対抗の動きを見せるなど、核拡散につながる動きも出てきている。
